Shepparton Law Courts

Setting the standard for modern multi-jurisdictional courts in Victoria, this purpose-designed building required a wayfinding strategy that could accommodate the Court’s functional requirements for dynamic courtrooms and meeting spaces, and the provision of different services for the regional area. ID LAB developed a coded reception and court numbering system that allowed for this flexibility. In coordination with the architects and interior designers, ID LAB designed a suite of signs inspired by the local context of the River Gum Tree, using accent colours as visual cues to assist the delivery of wayfinding information.
