Hamer Hall

In 2012 the refurbishment of Hamer Hall opened its doors with a new concert hall and a redesigned atrium space.  This world-class facility sits comfortably amongst Melbourne's iconic arts precinct, acting as a link connecting St Kilda Road with Southbank. ID LAB's challenge on this project was to successfully integrate historic elements of the facility with a consistent and effective wayfinding system. Close collaboration with members of the project alliance enabled ID LAB to design a system that is highly functional, aesthetically appealing and has become notably recognisable.
